Central High Principals Work Together for LaBonte's Final Year

A new hire for Brookfield Central High School means the co-principals will spend the 2013-14 school year working together.

With the current Brookfield Central High School principal set to retire in 2014, the school district is set up for a unique situation after a new hire of a co-principal last week.

"Few schools have the opportunity to transition a successor into the principal role and I am looking forward to seeing what our co-principals can accomplish this year," Superintendent Mark Hansen said. "(Brett) Gruetzmacher brings a commanding leadership presence to Brookfield Central and is key to a successful transition plan following Mr. LaBonte’s retirement at the end of the 2013-2014 school year,"
